Allie Riordan - The Laughing Lagoon

These friendly creatures show their happiness through their silly smiles. The flowing, vivid colors represent a joyful world.

Hannah Garton - Door of Happiness.

I did a big Hamsa on my door to showcase apart of my Jewish culture, because a Hamsa represents protection and guidance and the eye wards of evil. I also chose to do bright and eye catching colors to promote boldness and happiness.

Marie Valbuenar -7777,

It would be a purple door because that's my favorite color and it would a dog and some plants also

OctoDoor This drawing is an octopus opening a door into a magical world.

Tamya Austin - OctoDoor

This drawing is an octopus opening a door into a magical world.

Kseniia Kutsenko - Safari

I love animals and this drawing shows a creative zoo where animals became part of the building design.

Andrea Fleckenstein - Fruit Salad

It consists of the base door colored in green and orange, an assortment of fruits such as oranges and blueberries laid out next to an on top of the door, and a path leading outside of it. I chose this theme because I enjoy making art of fruit, and find it especially cheerful and welcoming, which is perfect for a public setting.

Sofia Perez - A Door to Wonder

My art piece is inspired by fairies and the curiosity of a child’s mind. When I was younger, I had a small fairy garden set, and I created a little home against a tree using pieces I found in nature. This memory reflects how magical and imaginative the world felt to me as a child, and I hope to capture that same sense of wonder through my artwork. The brown streaks represent a rough draft of how I plan to add bark texture to the background of the door, helping it blend naturally into the tree and bringing more depth and realism to the piece.

Michelle Valadez-Graciano - Summer fruit

My door represents fruits of the summer. Whether they are eaten on the beach or at home they are refreshing and delicious.

Tamar Heled - Golden Glimpse

It shows a bright future with a golden door, which for me, tells others to go through that door and follow their dreams. The flowers here also allow the viewer to see that life has some beautiful things around the world and we have time to stop, notice it, and continue on our journey to success.

Natalie Morales - Wild forest

It is a colorful and creative display of the wildlife that we don’t get to see everyday.

Kseniia Kutsenko - Beyond the Walls

A giant represents an ordinary human like any of us. He is reaching out looking for something unknown. His hand reaches through the tiny door even though he cannot clearly see whats waiting for him. This shows how people are ready to risks to achieve their goals, even when it feels impossible or when there are walls in the way.

Ellis Martin - Glass Lillies

I just thought that stained glass would go well with the little indents on the sample doors, so I looked up some inspiration and found flower-themed stain glass.

Ella Breitkopf - Mandala Door

The mandala in the middle represents balance and creativity, while the vines show growth and nature spreading around the space. I wanted it to feel bright and peaceful, hopefully outside a cafe or restaurant where someone might see while walking through a village.

Ella Breitkopf - Just Eclipse

“The Eclipse” was originally created by Alma Thomas who was an African American artist known for her colorful abstract paintings made with repeated brush strokes. She often used bright colors and circular patterns to show nature, space, and light. Her paintings feel energetic and joyful, like movement or light spreading outward. This painting style inspired my door design because it shows how simple repeated shapes and bright colors can create something powerful and eye catching.
