Small Canvases.
Big Creativity.
A New Dunwoody Holiday Tradition.
Create Dunwoody brings student creativity to local hotel lobbies through its Holiday Art Tree Program!
In partnership with Dunwoody High School, local hotels, and community businesses, the program transforms traditional holiday trees into festive art galleries decorated with original miniature paintings created by local students.
Holiday Art Tree 2026
Celebrate the season while experiencing Dunwoody’s vibrant creative community.
Dunwoody High School Students paint 3×3 inch canvases as tree ornaments or mini-canvas artwork.
Participating hotels will display the artwork allowing visitors, travelers, and hotel guests to purchase on site.
Proceeds support Create Dunwoody’s mission to provide arts and culture for economic development.
For just $7, visitors can purchase a one-of-a-kind piece of student artwork! Proceeds benefit Create Dunwoody's Storefront Art and Doorwoody programs, helping bring more public art and creative opportunities to our community.
Calling All Dunwoody High School Students!
All Dunwoody High School students are invited to participate, regardless of whether they are enrolled in an art class.
Create Dunwoody will provide the miniature canvases, and students can turn them into original works of art celebrating creativity, the season, or their own artistic vision.
Students may submit more than one piece of artwork, subject to approval by Dunwoody High School art teachers.
Selected pieces will be displayed on holiday trees at participating locations, giving students an opportunity to share their talents with the community and compete for prizes donated by local businesses.
