The Dunwoody Village Merchant Alliance, a subcommittee of Create Dunwoody, is a collaborative network of Greater Dunwoody Village business owners, managers, and property stakeholders working together to strengthen the district. The Alliance shares resources, coordinates events and promotions, and builds initiatives that drive foot traffic and support local business success.
The Village Merchants Alliance began with a first meeting on March 6, 2023, when businesses in the Greater Dunwoody Village Area came together to collaborate on strengthening the district. The Alliance includes community partners such as the City of Dunwoody Economic Development, Discover Dunwoody, the Perimeter Chamber, and other key stakeholders. The Village Merchant Alliance hosts quarterly meetings and helps launch community programs and events through voluntary participation. Members contribute ideas, time, meeting space, and monetary or in-kind support. The group works together to boost foot traffic, strengthen partnerships, build long term momentum for the Village, and make the Village a vibrant “downtown” gathering place.
